The Bible: We believe the Bible (both Old and New Testament) is the verbally inspired Word of God. The Bible is infallible, free from error of any sort in all matters with which it deals, and is the final authority for Christian faith and practice ((Ex. 4:10-15; 2 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 4:13; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
Creation: We believe God created the universe and all living things, without any evolutionary process (Gen. 1:1-2:3). We believe all human beings are created by God (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:7; 5:1-2).
The Trinity: We believe in the tri-unity of the Godhead. The eternal God manifests Himself in three (3) persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (I John 5:7; Matt. 28:19; Deut. 6:4; II Cor. 13:14; John 14:10, 26).
God: We believe in the existence of the God, Who is eternal, sovereign, and unchangeable in all attributes (Heb. 11:6; John 1:1-2; Ps. 24:1; Ps. 115:3; Malachi 3:16).
Jesus Christ: He is the Son of the Living God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. He was fully God and fully man (Matt. 1:20-21; Luke 1:31-35; 2:10-11). He came to earth and lived a sinless life. He died a sacrificial death for the sins of humanity. He rose from the dead and now resides in Heaven with God the Father. He is coming back to this earth for the consummation of His kingdom.
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. He convicts, regenerates, indwells, and seals believers in Christ. He provides believers with the power to live. He also assists believers to understand God’s word and His ways. He is the strength to believers to boldly witness about Jesus Christ. He gives gifts to the Church, and has not taken away any of the gifts listed in the Bible. We believe all the Spiritual Gifts listed in Rom. 12, 1 Cor. 12 and 14 are all for today.
Satan/Demons: We believe in the existence of Satan and his demons. He is the great dragon, serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan (Rev. 12: 7-9). Satan is prideful, deceiver, liar, tempter, and destroyer. We believe demons exist in this life and believers have been given the authority to cast them out (Mark 1:23-27, 32-34; 16:17-10; Acts 10:38; 19:11-12).
Hell: We believe in a literal hell. Hell is a real place, and it will be the eternal home for all those who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior (Luke 16: 19-31; Rev. 20: 11-15).
Sin: We believe man sinned against God when he became disobedient and ate from the forbidden tree. We believe every human being ever born (except Jesus Christ) has sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Gen. 3:15, 6:5; Ps. 14; Rom. 3:10-23).
Redemption: We believe Christ died for our sins (Ps. 22; Isa. 53; 1 Cor. 15:3). It was only in His death that a Holy God could forgive sin. Hebrews says, “But now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself (Heb. 9:26). Christ died for the whole world- for each individual. The death of Christ is sufficient for all; it is efficient for those who believe in Him.
Salvation: We believe salvation is by grace through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Eph. 2:8). We are called to repent and believe in the gospel (Mark 1:15). Repentance is where man turns away from dead works and turns to God. To have faith toward God is to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God (Matt. 16:16; Rom. 10: 9-13). We are also justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Rom. 3:24).
Biblical Parenting: We believe the Word of God is sufficient for parenting children in the fear of the Lord (Deut. 6:1-9; Ps. 22:6; Pro. 13:24; 19:18; 23:13; 29:17).
Creation: We believe God created the universe and all living things, without any evolutionary process (Gen. 1:1-2:3). We believe all human beings are created by God (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:7; 5:1-2).
