MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide a home-like atmosphere for all children in the fear of the Lord, and to help them grow in the wisdom of God. This is done through reading of Bible stories, teaching and listening to Christian songs everyday etc.
Philosophy Statement
We believe that all children should be trained up in the fear of the Lord. The the Bible says, “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6). Whatever we want to see in our children’s lives in the future should be taught right from the day of birth, and not wait till they grow up. We believe that children should be taught how to relate well with one another through playing and sharing. God has given parents the sacred responsibility of raising children to honor the Lord, His creation, His Word, and the lives and beliefs of other people. Allkidz Christian Daycare seeks to partner with parents to help grow their children into the people God created them to be. “Fathers, do not exasperate your children: instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4
We also believe that children are different from each other, and that each of them is fearfully and wonderfully made by God regardless of their background, behavior, or life situation (Ps. 139:14). It is our desire to help every child reach his/her full potential in life by helping the child cognitively, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually (Gen. 1:26-28; Jer. 1:5; 29:11). In view of this, we believe each child should be given the opportunity to explore, discover, and learn at his/ her own pace under an adult supervision. They do this through tasting, hearing, smelling, feeling/touching and seeing. To achieve this goal, we provide a variety of hands-on learning materials and equipment that help to bring out each child's creativity and talent. We make these resources available at the child’s reach to enable him or her to use them whenever they are needed. The outcomes and findings of their discoveries, coloring and others, should be dearly appreciated and some of them posted on walls for them to see, which goes a long way to boost their self-confidence.
Moreover, we believe that every day is a great day that God has made for everyone to be glad and rejoice in it. Thus, at Allkidz, we ensure that our home is always a safe and welcoming environment to make each day very joyful for children in our care to rejoice. These welcoming activities include creating an atmosphere of laughter, giggling, smiling and the like at all times. Greeting children with hugs and songs, healthy feeding, playing together as a big family, been available to respond to their needs at all times, correcting them with love when they are wrong, reading aloud to them, eating together, laughing together, etc., are all means we use to keep our home exciting for the kids. I’m a big advocate of sending parents pictures and videos of their little one's day to show their joyful memories so they can also be at peace at their workplace or wherever they may be.
Lastly, we believe that having a concrete knowledge of whatever you are doing helps to promote high quality services. Therefore, myself and whoever may come on board to help will be encouraged to attend trainings and to take classes, do self-studies to help build his or her self-image in the work he or she is doing.
